YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

One of the primary needs of youth is the cry for love and acceptance. God made them, like He made all of us, with a need for relationships. Authentic connections with other people are crucial for a youth's social, emotional, and spiritual development. Josh McDowell has labeled this generation of youth the “Disconnected Generation”. Fewer and fewer youth have Christian values taught at home, so some grow up disconnected with God. Many struggle to make godly friendships and find themselves in dating relationships that compromises their values. Therefore, our youth need to know that the Bible speaks practically and relevantly about these and other relationships.

When Jesus was asked what the most important command in the Bible was, He answered with two OT verses that talk about our relationships with God, ourselves and others (Matt 22:37-39). The goal of the sessions is to focus on this Great Commandment and examine biblical views of those vital connections that our youth have with one people.
