THEME. ONE IN THE LORD

This year's camp theme is 'ONE IN THE LORD: Strengthening Family Relationships in Christ'. The family unit is one of the greatest blessings we have been given! Yet, whether in our individual families or the church family as a whole, we have often not entered into the full potential of what the family is meant to be and can be. Through the messages, discussion, workshops, worship, devotion, fellowship and bonding activities, we hope to realize in practice God's dynamic design for the family.

SPEAKER. REV. SHOO HOW BENG

Rev. Shoo, the Senior Pastor of ACTS Baptist Church for over two decades and facilitator/coach with Church Resource Ministries Singapore, will be delivering the camp theme messages. He and his wife, Molly, have two sons, Joshua and Joel, who are also passionate for God and are actively involved in the ministry. Rev Shoo is a God-fearing shepherd who seeks to please God above man in the preaching and application of God's Word. Evangelism is the essence of his lifestyle, and he consciously reaches out to non-believers through daily interactions. His messages, which are known for being Biblically-centred, relevant and applicable, will definitely be a blessing to all campers.

WHO SHOULD COME?

All attending BBPC should make every effort to join the camp. If we are serious about building a closer and stronger relationship with one another in the Lord, the camp affords the best possible opportunity to do so. Additionally, this camp will also provide an excellent opportunity for our pre-believing family members and friends to see, understand and experience what the Christian faith is about through the workshops and programmes specially catered for them -messages that are relevant to both believers and non-believers, games and activities to bond everyone, and translators to help with language difficulties (during messages /devotions)! Thus, all are strongly encouraged to invite their pre-believing relatives and friends to attend :)

WHY SHOULD YOU COME?

† Excellent opportunity for personal renewal, away from the rush and stress of life in Singapore - to re-focus and re-align oneself with God's will and direction.

† Excellent occasion to practise Hebrews 10:24-25 - 'And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.' Camp is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the entire church family better, and in so doing, understand and love each other more!

CAMP FEES

Registrations close on the 1st of May, Sunday to allow the rooms / ferry / facilities to be booked in time for camp. Do sign up as soon as possible!
